Institutionalising gender and social inclusion into the health system through policy development, supporting the creation of new institutional structures, capacity building, programming, planning, evidence generation, monitoring and evaluation.

Technical support to the development and evaluation of the Ministry of Health’s social auditing of health services in over 500 health facilities. Social audits are facilitated by civil society organisations and involve the participation of local communities, local government bodies and health providers.

Technical support to the delivery and monitoring and evaluation of Ministry of Health’s One Stop Crisis Management Centres providing psycho-social counselling and treatment of survivors of gender based violence.

Support to the design, implementation and evaluation of equity monitoring of health services in disaster-affected districts. Equity monitoring is implemented by local civil society organisations and is a tool to capture the experiences and voices of local people and health providers to inform district and central government management of health and disaster recovery resources.
